We offer the safest and most thorough cleaning available. All of our cleaning agents are non-toxic and safe for your home, your family, and the environment.

Carter's Carpet Restoration Uses A Hot Water Extraction Process To Clean Your Carpets. This method is often called "Steam Cleaning." This is the cleaning method nearly all carpet manufacturers and carpet fiber producers recommend.

Our Procedures are as follows:

1. Pretreatment - All carpets are pretreated with special agents that breakdown and suspend the more difficult highly soiled areas for easier removal.
2. Pre-spotting - For the most difficult stains, we have a wide variety of professional spotting agents that are designed not to damage your fabrics or alter original color.
3. Agitation -This is necessary to allow for even distribution of the cleaning detergents to enhance the suspension of soil. Rinse - The final step, which ensures that no soap residue remains.

Like a lot of things, no two carpets are alike. That's why, when cleaning, no two carpet cleaning solutions will be the same. With this in mind, we have three different processes...

What is Jetless Cleaning Technology?
DriMaster's™ patented process replaces the ordinary spray jet with a dynamic high-flow, high-recovery cleaning head.

Creating a highly effective “Cleaning Zone”, the hot cleaning solution passes through the carpet's face fiber and is immediately extracted.  Dry time may average from 1 to 2 hours.

Our regular steam cleaning process is an excellent value, with tremendous cleaning power. We use a wand like the one pictured. We start by using a pre spray to emulsify and loosen soil/stains. We then rinse and extract using the worlds most powerful cleaning machine. Leaving your carpets soft and clean. Dry times with our regular steam are 8+ hours. As with any cleaning opening windows and doors, using ceiling fans and whole house fans (when available) will help speed drying times.

 The amazing RX-20 Rotary Jet Extractor has revolutionized the way carpets are cleaned. The five vacuum heads and spray jets rotate at 130 RPM creating 650 complete cleaning passes per minute. This super agitation, combined with the unit's weight, deeply cleans, extracting soil and cleaning solution. The rotating head cleans all sides of the carpet fiber, fluffing up and restoring the pile.

Thoroughly clean your carpet in a one-step process that cleans all sides of the carpet fiber. Restore those filthy, matted, traffic areas.

Upholstery Cleaning

First, we pre-condition your fabric to loosen the body oils and soil. Using special furniture cleaning equipment, we thoroughly clean and rinse your upholstery.  Once we have finished cleaning your furniture, we groom the nap to restore its original texture.

For long lasting protection, have Barrier Seal, or Stain Guardian Carpet and Upholstery Protectors professionally applied. Carter's Carpet Restoration can also treat new upholstered furniture with any of these excellent carpet and upholstery protectors.

Consistent Care Is Important.
Routine, day-to-day upholstery maintenance includes:

Thorough vacuuming of upholstered furniture using the appropriate machine attachment to remove dust and lint.

Turning and rotating movable cushions to help equalize soiling and wear.

In case of a spill, promptly remove the staining matter from the fabric surface. Delays or faulty attempts at spot removal can result in permanent stains or other permanent damage to the fabric.

The key to successful pet odor removal is to have a Carter's Carpet Restoration technician who is trained in Odor Control do the job for you.

Here's a brief explanation as to the procedure our trained technicians would use in your home to take care of pet odor:

Urine bonds to the fiber and is very difficult to clean out.

1. The areas of urine contamination must be identified. We can use several different inspection tools to identify the areas of urine contamination.
2. The urine must be treated with a special urine pre-treatment to break the bonding so that when the carpet is cleaned much of the urine can be extracted.
3. The areas of urine contamination must be treated with enzyme's that attack the urine at the molecular level to actually eat the remaining urine.

When this procedure is followed excellent results can be achieved.

Oriental Rugs are generally made of natural fibers and natural dyes. These give them their rich luster and warm feel.

Most Oriental Rugs are hand made. Hand made rugs are always imperfect. Their imperfections are part of their charm. The natural fibers and dyes along with their intrinsic value mean Orientals need (and deserve) special care.

When a customer sends us an Oriental rug for cleaning, we proceed with the idea that we are handling something of great value.

DRY CLEANING or WARM- OR COLD-WATER EXTRACTION OF ORIENTALS 
Your fine delicate rugs are:

First vacuumed to remove dry loose soils.

Secondly, the rug is gently and thoroughly dry cleaned or warm- or cold-water extracted to remove the dirt and oils from the fibers.

Any spots on your rug are carefully removed.  In the case of warm- or cold-water extraction, your rug is immediately dried with the use of special dryers.

The fringes are treated with a special fringe cleaner to restore their original color and brightness.  The fringes are always hand done to assure thorough cleaning.

Finally, we roll up your rug, wrap it for pick-up, or at your request, deliver your rug to your home.

Carter's Carpet Restoration specializes in disaster recovery from small to large scale drying and dehumidification following floods, water leaks, and any other catastrophe.

Although your carpeting has been exposed to water, it can often be restored, and will not require replacement. However, it will require special treatment.

We offer 24 hour, 7 day emergency service.
We use certified training procedures for flooded carpets insuring fast drying times of usually 3 days or less.

We remove standing water with our modern state-of-the-art extraction equipment or depending on the extent of the damage, the carpet could be dried off site, along with other items that need restoring, The carpet will be brought back and refitted with new padding when the drying of the building is complete and all other contents have been restored or replaced.
